This is the soundtrack for the new NBA Ballers game. All the music on the ‘Audio Trax’ is strictly hip hop with the exception of track 3 Nikki F.Cl ‘Holla At Me’ being r’n’b but it still does have hip hop beats. It features a range of rappers who have most probably been commissioned to release a track for the soundtrack. Pardon my ignorance, as I’m not familiar with the any of the rappers apart from Raskal and MC Supernatural. However please don’t let this deter you, as this really is quality. If your into basketball I couldn’t think of a
better soundtrack except for sentimental music like the music they’d play when the Harlem Globe Trotters used to do their magic. All the content the MC’s deliver is about basketball. There is real enthusiasm and passion in their expression and an undeniable love for the game. This really reinforces the connection between hip hop and basketball and I imagine it’s is suitably fitting for playing the game itself. The music is upbeat, lively, energetic and its quality in it’s own right. The track by MC Supernatural ‘NBA Ballers Theme’ is my favourite and I’m sure it will be a definitive song stuck in the conscience of many a young hooked video junky.
This soundtrack I’m sure will provide a nice background sound for many an hour of game playing pleasure.
