(City Slang 16/08/04) The Nashville singer/songwriter Kurt Wagner and his alt-country posse return with a thoughtful and penetrating offering from their well received album ‘AWCMON & NO YOUCMON’. In ‘Something’s Going On’ Wagner’s vocals take on a certain Barry White edge that runs along nicely with some sweet and soulful female backing. This a slow and stirring offering that will soothe and satisfy the most angry of listeners out there.
