Keane will release the third single from their No 1 album ‘Hopes & Fears’ on August 16th 2004 on the Island label. Entitled ‘Bedshaped’ it has fast become a live favourite with the band’s ever growing army of fans. ‘Bedshaped’ will be available in CD and 7”vinyl formats. Keane have just completed their first US tour, where they have been winning friends from Chicago to Phoenix to San Francisco and all points in between. The band have since played storming sets at Glastonbury, T In The Park and Oxegen festivals. If you didn’t catch them there, there will be another chance to see them in the Autumn when the band play their biggest UK tour to date. The full list of shows is as follows:

Keane are a three-piece from Battle in Sussex. Tom Chaplin (vocals), Richard Hughes (drums) and Tim Rice-Oxley (piano) grew up together. They have released four singles: ‘Everybody’s Changing’ and ‘This Is The Last Time’ were released on the Fierce Panda label. Their Island debut ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ entered the UK charts at No 3 on Feb 22nd ’04. Their second Island single, a reworked version of ‘Everybody’s Changing’ went to No 4 on 9th May ’04.

Keane’s summer continues with more gigs around Europe and they will be making their first visit to Australia and Japan. Their full schedule of shows is as follows:
