Smooth guy Joe teams up again with the successful G-Unit to create another warm and silky r’n’b single on Jive Records. The production is cool, simple and sophisticated. It seems that American r’n’b has certainly got to a stage where they can put out hit after hit with polished soul and all the commercial crossover potential to make it big. So if you’re sick of this kind of sound you may not feel too challenged with this track. I however do like it. The energy of the track
is positive, funky and a one to be played at those hot holiday resorts where the girls are getting down. You’ve got to hand it to Joe, he’s sincere, full of soul and unquestionably a lady-killer. He’s reaching out to hit your sexual pulses and wants you to get down. I like the simple guitar licks, old school keys and rhythmic drumming to create a good r’n’b hit. The G-Unit boys deliver their strong blend of street hip-hop to give the track a nice touch of pimpdom.
