Radio 1 presents the Outdoor stage and a special Essential Mix.

Last year the Outdoor stage was superb, the sunshine & Carl Cox's 3 hour headline set kept some 15,000 people out of the tents and dancing in the open air.

This year, Fergie will be headlining Radio 1's Outdoor Stage, joined by some of his 'Future Heroes' - the new generation of superstar club DJs that he's been championing on his Friday night show. We don't know who they are yet as they are still practtising in their bedrooms!!

Homelands 2003 @ www.contactmusic.com
From 5pm til 9pm Dave Pearce, Judge Jules and Seb Fontaine will be broadcasting live to the UK in front of the Homelands crowd Joining Seb on his show will be the German superstar DJ Timo Maas who brought us Azzido Da Bass 'Doom's Night'. Between 12midnight - 4am, an extended Essential Mix will be broadcast live from Homelands featuring the pick of the best sets from the various headline tents. Keep listening to Radio 1 for exclusive news on special live guest performances on the Outdoor stage throughout the day.
