Let the countdown begin

The first festival of the year.

A jaw-dropping line up of spectacular live acts and world famous DJs.

The event to kick-start the summer is We Love Homelands, the UK 's much loved dance music festival, unique for its super-whopping combo of live music and DJ gods. Synonymous with the last bank holiday in May and as the first festival of the season, the party starts on Saturday 29th May at 1pm in the Matterley Bowl, Winchester and goes thru till 6am the next morning.

We Love Homelands is a giant Mecca attracting 35,000 people for an unforgettable 17-hour marathon of incredible live music and quality tunes that will become the soundtrack to your summer.

Last year Homelands repositioned itself and the melting of boundaries combined with the muting of brand presence brought a fresh lease of life that was raved about by all who attended. This year we've gone even further. We Love… Homelands 2004 will feature more live music than ever before, bringing an ass kicking mishmash of Rock, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and dance music acts to their hallowed live stage and genre dedicated arenas.

Darren Hughes, the man behind the infamous We Love Sundays at Space Ibiza Parties, along with festival supremos Mean Fiddler have concocted a line up that will have you salivating and licking your lips in anticipation. Faithless, Scissor Sisters, and London Elektricity will all be appearing whilst The Music have chosen Homelands for their only festival

performance this year. The We Love Homelands following of music lovers will be utterly spoilt by over 65 mind-blowing artists and DJs. Nowhere else this summer will see such an amazing collection of talent including Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Black Strobe dex n fx, Mr Scruff, Groove Armada (DJ Set) and Paul Van Dyk playing together on the same line up.

Ever evolving, this year We Love Homelands sees the introduction of a dedicated Hip Hop arena added to the already staggering line up of live bands and DJs. We bring together a finga-lickin' line up with the UK King of Bling Tim Westwood and US Godfathers of Funk Grandmaster Flash and Jazzy Jeff alongside the dons of the UK underground Scratch Perverts, Killa Kela and Ty. And with many more artists yet to confirm this arena is already looking like being one of the 2004`s festival highlights.

Melvin Benn, MD of Mean Fiddler says, “We're unrelenting in our quest to provide the finest quality international talent. We're broadening the line up this year introducing Rock and Hip Hop as well as the freshest names from the underground. We're confident that 2004 will see the best Homelands ever!”

Just over an hour's drive from London and situated a short distance from the M3, the festival is easily accessible by car or coach and the further south, the greater the chance of sunny weather.

We Love… Homelands 2004 is your ticket to the world of awe-inspiring music, beautiful, shiny, happy people and an all time right royal knees up. We Love… Homelands is an unofficial rites of passage for everyone looking for lifetime experiences and the build up starts now!
