Franz Ferdinand have announced they will be making available a newly recorded version of This Fire, via download only on November 15th. The new version, recorded with Rich Costey, (who has just finished work on the forthcoming albums from Mars Volta and Bloc Party), has been renamed ‘This Fffire’ and is a freshly rearranged version of the live favourite that appears on the bands 2 million + selling eponymous debut album. It will be available via the bands site, www.franzferdinand.co.uk and usual legal download retailers.

Already a radio hit in the USA, This Fffire is set to follow Take Me Out as the band’s second big American hit single. A stunning new video for This Fffire has been completed by Swedish video team STYLE WAR (www.stylewar.com) and is already setting alight TV screens around the world with outlandish global action drama theme.
