Cornershop are back still keeping their Indian influence with ‘Topknot’. This track is very experimental with a real progressive sort of sound. The beats are really funky with a definite tabla influence, as well as a touch of ragga influence also. It creates a really bouncy rhythm with crisp snares to keep you stuck to the floor. There’s soulful vocals sung by Bubbley Kava and she provides a bit of rapping as well. A bit of sitar is in the mix also for that that truly Indian feel.
