'Staging' is the second single to be taken from Cornershops recent and universally acclaimed album Handcream For A Generation.
'Staging The Plaguing Of The Raised Platform' - to give the song its album-length title - is a perfect example of the offhand charm that Handcream... as a whole exudes, bringing together music box chimes, boogie guitar, and the disarming presence of a childrens choir, before capping the whole thing off with deliciously swirling strings.
