22 year old, Birmingham born and bred Michael Clarke, who records under the name Clarkesville, releases the second single, entitled ‘Heavy Soul,’ from his gloriously accomplished debut album ‘The Half Chapter’ on November 3rd.

‘Heavy Soul’ was produced by Martin Terefe and will be backed by a re-recorded version of ‘Just Kills Me’ from The Half Chapter and new track ‘Set In Stone’.

‘Heavy Soul’ will be released on CD and 7” on Wildstar Records. The 7” format will be limited to 500 copies and individually numbered. The individual number on the 7” can also be entered into a free draw via the Clarkesville website www.clarkesville.net to win a mystery prize.

This year Clarkesville have already been the special guests on tours by Ron Sexsmith, The Kings of Leon, John Mayer and Rooney and are currently putting the finishing touches to a number of UK dates to support the release of the single. Full details of these dates will be announced in the near future….
