How funky is this song? Featuring the wicked vocals of Lisa Kekaula, this track is one of the best Basement tunes I’ve heard in a while.

Released on 6 th June 2005, this song is classic Jaxx. Funky, rocky, pop, R&B… it has all the basic elements they’ve previously produced but somehow provides more.

Taken from the album “Basement Jaxx – the singles”, it has the rock element that just makes you want to party or head bang, but at the same time it’s a dance record! “You don’t know me” is such a great song, full of fantastic beats and mixes of different instruments that create a wicked base drum beat and guitar riffs.

Its sort of a mix of 70’s vocals along with modern day beats and melodies of today’s dance tracks.
