Rocker Ozzy Osbourne's wayward teenagers JACK and KELLY have opened up about their battle with drugs to British TV presenter SIR TREVOR McDONALD - recalling the time Jack tried to kill himself.

The stars of reality TV show THE OSBOURNES spoke about their addiction to narcotics and alcohol on terrestrial channel ITV1's TONIGHT WITH TREVOR McDONALD show.

Jack, 18, explains, "Aged just 16 I was struggling with a serious addiction to a painkiller called Oxycontin or Hillbilly Heroin.

"I was 13 when I began drinking and experimenting with cannabis and pretty soon I was drinking heavily.

"I was taking drugs every day from the age of 14 and it wasn't until I ended up in rehab three years later that my parents knew anything."

SHUT UP singer Kelly, who checked into rehab last month (APR04), admits she began drinking alcohol at 12-years-old and started indulging in drugs after finding it difficult to settle in Los Angeles, after being mainly brought in Britain.

Kelly says, "I didn't fit in anywhere because I was the chubby English girl."

After making friends with junkies, Kelly exclaims, "For the first time I felt like I fitted in.

"Towards the end there wasn't a second in a 24-hour day that I wasn't high on something. I was completely and utterly miserable."

Both teenagers are now clean and credit 12-step recovery processes with their sobriety.
