Ozzy Osbourne, Noel Gallagher and Rod Stewart are among the 30 musicians whose hand-painted designs are currently adorning giant guitars in an outdoor London art exhibition. Thirty 10-foot (3.04-metre) high replica Gibson Les Paul guitars went on display on Tuesday (26Jun07) along the British capital's riverside City Hall area. There are also an additional 30 hand-painted, regular-sized guitars being exhibited at The O2 Arena. Stars including Robert Plant, Paul Weller, Razorlight, Keane, Kasabian, James Blunt and Dirty Pretty Things have contributed to the free exhibition, which will be on display for 10 weeks. All the instruments, both large and small, are to be auctioned for charity later in the year (07). Proceeds from the sales will go to Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy, The Prince's Trust and Teenage Cancer Trust.
