Orlando Bloom has suddenly found himself with time to spare at Christmas - his turn as William Shakespeare's romantic hero in Broadway's Romeo And Juliet will end in December (13), one month earlier than planned.

The play, which also stars Condola Rashad, opened at the Richard Rodgers Theater in New York to mixed reviews in September (13), and now producers have decided not to continue shows into the new year due to low sales.

A statement reads, "Based on a combination of sales and availability of cast members, we have determined that Sunday, Dec. 8 will be our final performance."
