Oprah Winfrey is challenging fans to meditate, touting the benefits of the relaxing practice.

The iconic Tv host has revealed that she meditates twice a day and encourages her staff to follow her lead.

In an interview with U.S. Tv talk show host David Letterman on Thursday (01Aug13) she said, "Actually I brought meditation to my company right before I ended (the Oprah show) in 2010, because it makes for a better environment when everybody is focused and of one mind."

And to help others master the art of relaxing, Oprah and self-help guru Deepak Chopra have created an online guide to de-stressing.

She explained, "You go online, to Oprah.com, and you can sign up and it's free, because I want more people to meditate."
