One Direction fans tend to be a drain on their parent's wallets when it comes to concerts, however shoppers at Shepherd's Bush's Westfield were given a huge discount on ticket prices when Niall Horan and Liam Payne from the boyband surprised shoppers with an spur-of-the-moment gig.
Niall took care of guitar duties, whilst Liam sang all five parts of their hit 'That's What Makes You Beautiful,' the boys were also joined by a backing band. The two lads then took a bit of a wander around the shopping centre, being followed by a camera and sound crew capturing their every move.
The two were dressed down in just t-shirt, jogging bottoms and trainers, looking as though the store's manager had hollered at them whilst they were shopping, asking them to put on something of a performance for the customers - though the fact the band members were accompanied by other musicians seem to confirm the gig was prearranged.
Although fellow band members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson where nowhere to be seen, the shock performance from the duo did not disappoint the surprised punters. So shocked were some of the customers - who had no idea that the two were due to perform - many passers-by dismissed the action as just a pair of busking teens.
For the boy's sake, lets hope that this isn't an eerie foreshadowing of the future for the group - shopping centre performers.
