British boyband One Direction are bringing some oceanside glamour to their Los Angeles residency by staying in a replica of doomed liner Titanic.

The Live While We're Young hitmakers are playing five concerts in the city this week (ends11Aug13) and they decided to live in style by renting out an eye-catching home shaped like a ship.

The six-bedroom property in Bel Air, which costs $27,000 (£18,000) a week to rent, is modelled on the Titanic and stretches over six floors in homage to the enormous liner which sank on its maiden voyage from the U.K. to New York in 1912.
