Actress Olivia Munn is urging U.S. president Barack Obama to legalise gay marriage in America - insisting she's "upset" same-sex unions are still not allowed.
Gay marriages were made legal in America for the first time in California last year (09), but state legislation Proposition 8 ruled the unions illegal just six months after they were declared valid.
The political backtracking sparked anger, and Munn insists Obama should move to fix the law.
She tells Fox News, "It's ridiculous and I'm really upset that Obama, as a black man, and all the things that African-Americans have gone through after being oppressed, has said 'you're less than' and cannot stand up and say marriage is a union between two individuals who love each other.
"I just think everyone should be allowed the same rights - if they want to exercise them, they can and if they don't, they don't."
