Olivia Cooke in discussions to play Tirzah in 'Ben-Hur'.

The 20-year-old 'Ouija' actress has reportedly been offered the role of Ben-Hur's sister, Tirzah in the remake of the 1959 classic movie.

The role of Tirzah was originally played by Cathy O'Donnell.

Formal negotiations have not begun yet, because Olivia is in talks with several other film executives regarding high-profiles roles, according to The Wrap.

'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' director Timur Bekmambetov is directing the remake for Paramount and MGM, and 'Boardwalk Empire' actor Jack Huston is reportedly signed up to play the titular Ben-Hur, a prince who is forced into slavery by his friend-turned-enemy Messala.

It has been speculated that 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' actor Toby Kebbell will take on the role of Messala.

Legendary actor Morgan Freeman has already signed up for the remake, which is due out in cinemas in February 2016.

'12 Years a Slave' writer John Ridley has helped to co-write the script, which is based on the 1880 novel 'Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ' written by Lew Wallace.
