Early recordings by Oasis and The Stone Roses are set to hit the auction block later this month (Feb14).

Demo cassettes from both bands will go under the hammer on 21-22 February (14) at Omega Auctions in Stockport, England.

The musical must-haves from Oasis, recorded in 1991 and 1992, feature Noel Gallagher's handwritten tracklisting. They are expected to fetch $1,600 (£1,000) to $2,400 (£1,500).

A promotional cassette of Oasis's debut 1994 album Definitely Maybe is valued at $320 - $480 (£200 - £300) and an original signed poster for the 2000 song Go Let It Out could bring in $1,280 - $1,600 (£800 - £1,000).

Other items in the sale include a Stone Roses demo featuring the unreleased single Sun Still Shines, which is valued at $3,200 to $4,800 (£2,000 - £3,000) and a cassette tape of the band's 1989 self-titled Lp, which could fetch up to $480 (£300).
