Oasis star Noel Gallagher has mocked wannabe singers for taking part in British TV talent contest The X Factor - insisting their dreams will never come true.
The outspoken rocker has launched a bitter attack at superstar hopefuls who use the hit show as a platform to kick-start their music careers.
And Gallagher targets X Factor judge Dannii Minogue in his rant to BBC's Radio Times magazine, insisting she has "no talent".
He tells the publication, "If somebody is dangling fame in front of a check-out girl from Barnsley (Northern England) they're going to go for it because they live in a s**thole.
"You're in with a No 1 and you've got Dannii Minogue telling you you're really talented - and if there's one person who wouldn't know talent if it kicked them, it's Dannii Minogue."
He adds, "Instead of instant fame the prize ought to be, 'I'll introduce you to someone who might, if you're lucky, know a producer who'd record one of your songs."
