The British rock group split in 2009 after a bust-up between guitarist Noel and his singer brother Liam backstage at a gig in France.
Liam now performs with his group Beady Eye and Noel tours under the name Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and the two brothers have not been on speaking terms since the band imploded.
Fans had hoped Oasis would get back together in 2014 to mark 20 years since the rockers burst onto the British music scene with their debut album Definitely Maybe in 1994.
However, Noel is adamant an anniversary show won't happen, telling British Tv host Alan Carr, "It would take Liam or myself to be very skint (broke) and I know that is not going to happen. The last time I saw Liam he didn't say much.
"The day will pass and people will realise the anniversary just has not happened."
