The hip-hop stars had recruited around 100 extras to chant, "F**k Donald Trump", the name of their new political anthem, which takes aim at the controversial real estate and reality TV mogul, who has become an unlikely U.S. presidential frontrunner.

However, according to TMZ.com, local authorities were unaware the gathering was for a video shoot and responded to the large crowds by sending in riot police to break up the event.

The rappers have yet to comment on the shoot interruption, but sources tell the publication the duo was able to get plenty of footage for the promo before production was shut down.
