Nightmare & The Cat (Formed 2010)
Nightmare & The Cat is an Indie Rock band, with members from England and America. The members are Django Stewart, Samuel Stewart, Claire Acey, Scott Henson, and Spike Phillips. They are better known for their singles, "Sarah Beth" and "The Missing Year".
Formation: Brothers Django and Samuel Stewart (sons of musician/producer Dave Stewart and Siobhan Fahey) were working with other bands around L.A. Vocalist/guitarist Claire Acey, bassist Scott Henson, and drummer Spike Phillips soon joined them to create a band.
Music Career: Before Nightmare & The Cat, Django and Samuel had been involved with other bands around L.A. Through YouTube, the band received a strong fan base. After self-releasing their own EP 'Nightmare & The Cat', they received attraction from major management companies. In 2011, they signed with In De Goot Entertainment. In 2013, they were signed with Capitol Records. In September 2013, their debut single "Simple" was released through Capitol Records. Their first LP was released in July 2014, also named 'Simple'. In May 2014, they performed "Undercover" live on the David Letterman show.
