Nicole Scherzinger may have found 'The One' in boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov.
The 38-year-old singer has been seeing tennis ace Grigor, 25, since last year (15), and the pair appear to be happier than ever. Prior to her relationship with Grigor, Nicole dated Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. While she prefers not to discuss her former romance any more, ex Pussycat Dolls star Nicole did tell Britain's Fabulous magazine that ambition is something she considers important in a potential partner.
"It's good when you're both career-driven to have your own space to focus on your career and yourself," she said. "We have to be able to set love boundaries to keep our worth and our dignity. We too often allow things to happen and then find ourselves in a very vulnerable or weak place. I'm so happy - I'm proud of myself."
And asked if she is in love, she replied: "Yeah, I hope so. I'm a very loving person. We've been together for quite some time now, so I'm just living in the moment and I'm happy."
It was recently announced that Nicole would be returning to the panel of British TV talent show The X Factor for this year's series, which means she'll have to spend the majority of her time in London when the live shows begin. However, she's hopeful that Grigor will be able to find time to come and visit her in the English capital.
"He's obviously busy as he's got his own career, but hopefully he'll come and visit me," she smiled. "We both travel a lot, but it's nice when we are able to make time (for each other). You appreciate it."
While Nicole is being kept busy with her various work commitments right now, she is hoping that at some point in the future she'll be able to turn her attention to starting a family.
And when she does have children, Nicole is looking no further than her own mother for parenting inspiration.
"In time, not now, I'll definitely have a family. God only knows when that time will be. But I do know that when I have my kids, I'm going to be like: 'Those are my kids,' and I'm going to be raising them how my mum raised me," she smiled.
"She is the greatest mum in the entire world. She had me when she was 18 and raised me on her own. She's the strongest and most selfless person, so hopefully I'll do her proud. She's my angel."
