Snooki feared her fiance Jionni LaValle would leave her if she didn't get back to her pre-pregnancy weight
Snooki feared her fiance would ''run away'' if she didn't get back to her pre-pregnancy weight.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star - who gave birth to her son Lorenzo in August - has admitted that although she lost 42 pounds primarily for herself, she also wanted to look good for her fiance Jionni LaValle and hopes they can ''get that spark back''.
She told Us Weekly magazine: ''Even though I'm busy with Lorenzo all the time, I still want to look good for Jionni, 'cause I don't want him to run away ever from me. So I basically try to go to the gym all the time and train with my trainer and do cardio as much as possible.
''If you can't make it to the gym, you can always work out with your baby. He likes to go up and down. We call him Super Lorenzo so he flies.''
The 25-year-old reality TV star, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, also revealed she and Jionni have found it difficult adjusting to parenthood because of how it has affected their relationship.
She said: ''It's definitely hard to have alone time, as me and Jionni are parents, and taking care of Lorenzo is all about Lorenzo. Hopefully we'll get that spark back.''
However the pint-sized personality is besotted with her baby boy and loves being a young mother.
She said: ''I love when Lorenzo laughs. When we tickle him, he can just crack up for hours. And that always makes me happy.''
In November, Snooki revealed she was putting pressure on herself to lose the last 20 pounds of her pregnancy weight and admitted she was unhappy with her body and the stretch marks on her stomach.
She said at the time: ''I have 20 more pounds to go. I'm hoping to lose it by my birthday on November 23. I won't feel good until I feel comfortable naked.
''I really don't like how I look. When you have a baby you get stretch marks and its all loose skin. Everything needs to go back to where it was.''
