Weston Cage, the son of Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage, has left police custody after posting $50,000 bail but his wife Nikki Williams is yet to be released. Weston and his wife were both booked in the early hours of Monday morning (4th July 2011) following a domestic disturbance at their home, reports Tmz.com.
Police were alerted to the apartment after Nikki "went after" her husband with a bottle, but both individuals were taken to the police station for questioning. Witnesses say in addition to cutting Weston with the glass, Nikki also punched him wildly and even threatened to jump off their balcony. Police officers also believe Weston was violent and booked him on felony domestic violence. The incident comes just weeks after Cage entered rehabilitation following an altercation with his trainer. Just before noon today, Weston posted $50,000 bond and was released, telling photographers to "never get married" while leaving the station. Nikki remains in custody and is reportedly still being questioned by police. Weston is Nicolas Cage's son from his relationship with the actress Christina Fulton. He appeared opposite his father in the hit movie 'Lord of War', playing a young Ukrainian mechanic.
Nicolas Cage was arrested in New Orleans in April 2011 on suspicion of domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace. On May 5, 2011, all charges against the actor were dropped.
