Nicolas Cage is delighted with his performance in new 9/11 drama WORLD TRADE CENTER, because he feared he would never realise his ambition of working with director Oliver Stone. The Oscar-winner feared PLATOON film-maker Stone would never cast him because of his massive fee - but he is eternally grateful that they managed to reach a compromise. He says, "I remember one day I ran into him at a Leaving Las Vegas event in 1995 - I looked at him and said, 'Why haven't you cast me?' He laughed and said, 'Well, would you cut your price?' I'm happy we finally did it."
