Nicki Minaj dedicated a performance of her hit Anaconda to U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
The hip hop artist was the star attraction at an event hosted by Time magazine at New York's Jazz at Lincoln Center venue on Tuesday (26Apr16) to mark the issue ranking the 100 people its editors believe to be the most influential in the world.
Nicki, who appeared in the Icons section of the list, joked she hoped her song would unite the controversial Republican presidential hopeful with U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
"I'm very political and I would like to dedicate a song in the spirit of unity to Joe Biden and Donald Trump," she said before performing Anaconda. After she finished the song she asked, "Who do you think likes the biggest butts? Donald Trump or Joe Biden? Trump?"
Nicki performed a medley of her songs The Crying Game, Truffle Butter, Moment 4 Life, Feeling Myself, Super Bass and of course Anaconda' at the gala event.
Donald, who attended the bash alongside others named in the Time 100 including Leonardo DiCaprio, Ariana Grande,and Caitlyn Jenner, told Access Hollywood on the event's red carpet that he thought she was, "terrific".
The billionaire turned politician left the Time event early to deliver a victory speech at Manhattan's Trump Tower after winning primary elections in the U.S. states of Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
While Nicki was performing, Ariana Grande mouthed along to her lyrics, according to the publication.
Other stars named in the Time 100 include Idris Elba, Adele and Kendrick Lamar.
