Nicki Minaj continues to win the affections of R&B superstar Drake, who claims he would marry the Pink Friday rapper in an instant. The couple are rumoured to have dated in the past, but Drake denied speculation he introduced Nicki to his mother.
Speaking to Elle Magazine, the 24-year-old discussed being raised by his single mother, claiming the most "intense" thing he'd ever done was invite a girl to Passover dinner. When quizzed on whether the girl in question was Minaj, Drake said, "No, no. Although that's a woman my mother is in love with". The duo confused fans last year by claiming they had married in secret, with Minaj telling Twitter followers, "Yes, it's true. Drake and I tied the knot". Their representatives gave no comment at the time, but the announcement was assumed to be a prank. When asked about the incident by Elle, Drake explained, "I don't know if we were really pretending. I'd marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all this and be able to love me". The Young Money star also recalled his relationship with Rihanna, claiming their acrimonious split "hurt", but adding, ".she didn't mean to. I'll never put that on her. I was hurt because I started to slowly realize what it was".
Nicki Minaj appears on Drake's highly anticipated second album 'Take Care', slated for release on 15th November 2011. The record also features Lil Wayne and STEVIE WONDER.
