Canadian rockers Nickelback are celebrating after topping the US album charts this morning (12OCT05) with new album ALL FOR THE RIGHT REASONS.

The group debuted at the top after selling 325,000 copies of their fifth album - almost 200,000 more than rapper Twista, whose THE DAY AFTER entered the new chart at number two.

It's a big week for Fiona Apple as her acclaimed new album EXTRAORDINARY MACHINE debuts at number seven and, with 97,000 copies sold, gives her her biggest sales week to date.

Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand are also celebrating - their second release, YOU COULD HAVE IT SO MUCH BETTER, is a high entry at number eight.
