Pop star and actor Nick Jonas has been named a brand ambassador for footwear firm Creative Recreation.
A longtime fan, Jonas will serve as the face of the company and spearhead initiatives including a capsule collection, which he has designed.
"His work will encompass all aspects of Creative Recreation's innovative spirit, beginning with his Spring/Summer footwear picks," a spokesman for the company says.
Jonas will also star in the brand's Fall 2016 campaign and make appearances at several Creative Recreation events.
Bosses at the footwear brand will also be hosting a contest that will give fans the chance to meet Jonas during his Future Now tour with Demi Lovato.
"Jonas will amplify his portfolio of work to give himself the title of designer with offerings inspired by a day in the life of the artist," the representative adds. "He will immerse himself in the process of developing a unisex capsule collection that is scheduled to drop in January, 2017."
"I am looking forward to my collaboration with Creative Recreation, and to starting the footwear design process in creating shoes for my fans that are perfect for their wardrobe," Jonas gushes. "It has always been important for me to be hands-on with any collaboration, and this project is no exception."
