Nick Jonas sang through a sore throat when he took to the West End stage on Wednesday night (21Jul10) just hours after cancelling his matinee performance of Les Miserables due to illness.
The Jonas Brothers star is currently performing in the iconic musical in London, but he left fans disappointed on Wednesday when he called in sick for his afternoon show after waking up with a sore throat.
He broke the news in a post on his Twitter.com page: "Hey everyone... I woke up this morning with a sore throat, and no voice. I will not be able to perform in the matinee of Les Mis today. For those of you who have travelled from really far away to see me in the show I am truly sorry. Thank you for understanding everyone."
But the singer soon shrugged off his illness and was back on stage later that day for the evening performance, explaining he was "feeling so much better". And Jonas even found the energy to join his castmates for a post-show pizza dinner.
He added on Twitter, "What a great night. Thanks Pizza Express for the good times. Goodnight everyone. Love you all."
