Michael Rae Papayans, the man arrested with pop star Nick Carter following a brawl outside a Key West, Florida bar, is facing serious charges in Los Angeles for knocking a sports fan unconscious.
Officials working for the Los Angeles County District Attorney have announced they'll be charging Papayans with a felony count of assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury for beating up a 50-year-old man in a Dodger Stadium parking lot in October (15).
The D.A. claims Papayans' attack was so vicious he knocked the man unconscious and caused serious head injuries.
Papayans was arrested last month (Jan16) and charged with misdemeanour battery after he and Carter allegedly fought a bouncer outside a Key West bar.
Papayans, 27, will be arraigned next month (11Mar16) for the stadium fight, which took place after the Dodgers lost to the New York Mets.
If convicted, he faces up to seven years behind bars.
