Actor Nicholas Brendon is facing a possible two-year prison sentence over charges stemming from a drunken bust-up with cops last month (17Mar10).
Officers were called to investigate a man causing a commotion in Venice, California, and when they arrived at the scene, Brendon, who is said to have been inebriated, allegedly refused to co-operate and ran away - forcing police to use a Taser gun on him.
The former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star was hospitalised and booked for felony vandalism after allegedly damaging property during the scuffle.
Brendon - who played vampire fighter Xander Harris - has now been charged with resisting arrest, two counts of battery against a police officer, as well as felony vandalism.
The actor is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday (07Apr10). If convicted, he faces two years behind bars and a $4,000 (£2,666) fine.
