The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star was taken into custody in Tallahassee in March (15) after reportedly trashing a local hotel room just a month after Fort Lauderdale police arrested him on suspicion of felony grand theft.

Brendon was charged with criminal mischief and released on bail, but ordered to avoid alcohol and drugs and submit random urine analysis and attend weekly alcohol checks.

However, local officials tell the Tallahassee Democrat that Brendon failed to submit samples between 25 and 30 March (15), and he's now facing arrest after a warrant was issued on 8 April (15).

A spokesperson for Brendon has posted a statement on Facebook, which reads: "Nicholas was unaware of the warrant that was issued for his arrest. This is a huge misunderstanding, and he's working with his legal team to correct the situation.

"He was receiving treatment during this time and also followed the conditions of his pre-trial release to the best of his knowledge. He's looking forward to clearing up this situation and continuing his path to recovery."
