Niall Horan has admitted he's planning to pull himself out of the limelight once his 'Flicker' tour wraps in September as he wants to focus on writing some songs for his second solo album.
Niall Horan will take an extended break from the limelight once he's finished his tour.
The 24-year-old singer has been on the road for almost four months and isn't expected to wrap up his 'Flicker World Tour' until September but he's already decided that he's going to take some time out once he's returned home later this year as he wants to focus on his second solo album and hang out with his friends and family.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, he said: ''Having the band there is great so in the soundchecks we will jam out something and see what happens.
''Nothing has really come yet. When I'm on tour I get into such a routine. And when you're writing songs I feel like that needs to be 100 per cent your focus.
''So I'm going to take a couple of months off after the tour, which finishes in September. Then I'll just write until I've got good tunes. I'm not coming back until I do.
''I find the slower songs come more naturally for me. I would like to create a bit more of the up-tempo stuff and try to cement my sound. That's something to work on.''
The former One Direction hunk is no doubt hoping that his time away from the spotlight will allow him to see his rumoured girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld a bit more.
But when asked whether the pair are dating, despite being spotted out and about in public together, Niall coyly replied: ''Private life, I'll keep that one to myself.''
Meanwhile, Niall has had a really busy week as he joined Taylor Swift at her 'Reputation' tour at Wembley Stadium in London on Friday for a surprise performance of his hit 'Slow Hands' - and he has admitted there could be a collaboration coming.
He explained: ''Taylor, she's a dream. She's the ultimate superstar, a complete pro, lovely girl and wide open for a collaboration. We've never spoken about it, it was the first time I'd seen her in about a year and a half. It's good to get back in touch.''
From 'Happy' to 'Banana Pancakes', these are soaked in positivity.
