Country music star Zac Brown has spent $330,000 (£262,000) on a prize steer.
The singer/songwriter bought the Reserve Champion at the 2017 RodeoHouston auction on Saturday (25Mar17).
Brown and his wife Shelly bid on the creature at the auction.
Texas teen Stock Martin, who helped raise the steer, was stunned by the auction price for his old pal.
"It’s incredible,” Martin tells KHOU. "It’s always great to be able to participate in this auction and it’s even better when you have all of these people here bidding on your steer. You can only dream of numbers like that.”
