TV series WITHOUT A TRACE has successfully reunited two children with their father - marking the show's first real-life tracing of missing people in its three-year history.
On 21 July (05), the show continued its usual practice of airing snapshots of missing people, when it ran a photo of NICHOLAS CANDELA, eight, who had been missing with his sister GIOANNAH, seven, for nearly two years.
Thanks to a tip from a viewer, the FBI found the youngsters, who had allegedly been abducted by their mothers.
The children are now back with their father, who is their legal guardian.
Without a Trace, which debuted in the US in 2002, follows the cases of a FBI unit specialising in missing persons investigations.
'Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing)' arrives in April.
The two awards have made for a great 72nd birthday present for the country music icon.
