British comic DAVID WALLIAMS is hanging up his swimming trunks after completing his 21-mile charity swim across the English Channel - insisting the marathon was his first and last foray into sport of any kind. The LITTLE BRITAIN star, who took on the challenge for UK charity Sports Relief, can't wait to return to his true territory - sporting a dress and "making people laugh". He says, "There's a little part of me that wants to do the double (marathon) now, but then there's another part of me that thinks maybe I should go back to putting on a dress and making people laugh. "I'm good with the dress, no more swimming trunks. Unless it's for personal pleasure, of course."
The acclaimed performer had just cancelled touring due to a battle with cancer.
Many ticket-holders couldn't get into the O2 Arena show on Tuesday night (September 19th) because they didn't bring photo ID to match their booking.
