NBC's hopes of healing its decomposing ratings with the return of Celebrity Apprentice was dashed Sunday as the once dominant series debuted with a season opener that attracted just 5 million viewers. That was about 2 million fewer than those that tuned in to last year's season opener. Fox tied NBC for the fewest viewers Sunday night, but Fox also tied CBS for the most viewers in the 18-49 age group, the demographic that advertisers court. As is often the case, the highest-rated show of the night was CBS's 60 Minutes with 11.95 million viewers. However, it also continues to attract that largest number of older viewers. ABC offered the two-hour premiere of its new drama Red Widow with so-so-results; it attracted 7 million viewers
