A Pentecostal pastor who appeared in an episode of U.S. reality show Snake Salvation has died after one of his slippery congregation members bit him.
Kentucky-based Jamie Coots passed away on Saturday night (15Feb14) hours after one of his vipers bit him. He refused medical attention for his wound and died at home.
Coots was one of the preachers who handle killer serpents as part of their services on the National Geographic Channel show.
Last year (13), Coots pleaded guilty to violating exotic animals laws and was ordered to give up his vipers.
