American TV chef FRIEDMAN PAUL ERHARDT has died. He was 63. Erhardt - who became known as Chef Tell - died of heart failure at his home in Allentown, Philadelphia, on Friday (26Oct07). The German-born star was a regular on TV shows like Regis and Kathie Lee and Saturday Night Live, and was hailed as a pioneer of chefs on the small screen. Philadelphian restaurant critic Elaine Tait paid tribute to the late Erhardt, saying, "He was the first of the great showman chefs. Up until his era, chefs stayed in the kitchen."
The film will be the first in the Marvel Cinematic Universe led by a person of colour.
The actor plays the titular hero in the forthcoming adaptation.
