Rap veteran Too $Hort has slammed false reports of his death following a sick online hoax.
Fans of The Ghetto hitmaker, 45, were shocked to read on his Wikipedia biography that he'd died from a heart attack on 31 May, 2011 after a mystery prankster logged onto the site, which is edited by the public, to alter the star's details in recent days.
But Too $hort, real name Todd Shaw, has moved swiftly to shoot down the claims - insisting he's simply been laying low as he prepares his next album.
In a post on his Twitter.com blog, he writes, "Stop calling my phone. I'm not dead. Been in the lab working on my 19th album No Trespassing in stores Feb 2012".
