Soul supergroup the Temptations are in talks to turn their Motown success story into a new Broadway musical.
The group's soul-surviving original member Otis Williams tells the group is working with Broadway producer Ira Pittleman on a stage spectacular based on the band's history.
He says, "I never would have imagined the possibilities of the Tempts life story going to Broadway, but it's wonderful."
Williams insists work on the show will start once a new musical about Motown founder Berry Gordy, Jr.'s life lands on the Broadway stage next spring (12).
