Taylor Hill ''can't'' leave the house without moisturising her skin.

The 20-year-old model - who was scouted at the young age of 14 whilst in a barn in Colorado - has admitted she won't go out in public without applying lotion, because it gives her a ''great glow'' when she doesn't wear any make-up.

Speaking to Vogue online about her beauty hacks, the brunette beauty said: ''I can't leave the house without moisturising; it gives a great glow to your skin without any makeup.''

And Taylor - who has graced the catwalk for the lingerie giant Victoria's Secrets - has revealed she prefers French fashion and beauty to American trends because she believes they are more ''chic'' and make French females look ''clean''.

She explained: ''I feel like the French are very chic and simple, whereas the American beauty trends are bright and bold--a smoky eye can be very American.

''The French actresses always look so clean and fresh, but nowadays, I do see American movie stars embracing more of a natural glow, which I love.''

Meanwhile, Taylor has recently been announced as the ''newest face'' of the luxury cosmetics house Maison Lancôme, which she publicly broadcasted via social media on Tuesday (12.07.16).

The catwalk icon previously shared a photo of her from the commercial on her Instagram account, alongside the caption: ''I am so excited and happy to announce that I will be joining Lancôme family as their newest face!!! This an amazing day and I cannot believe one of my biggest dreams has come true!! Thank you so much to everyone at Lancôme for believing in me and having me a part of your amazing family @lancomeofficial #lavieestbelle Lancome (sic).''

Meanwhile, the new recruit has not wasted any time in throwing herself whole-heartedly into her new role.

Following her public announcement Taylor shared a behind the scenes shot of her and her partner Lily working on their forthcoming project for the cosmetic's line.

She wrote: ''Wrapped my first shoot for @lancomeofficial with this beauty @lilycollins #Repost (sic).''
