A Spanish-language TV talk show has come under fire from the family of a teenager, who claim the boy was beaten and humiliated on the programme.
IVAN ALARCON, 17, maintains he was punched by another guest on the JOSE LUIS UNCENSORED show, which features regular fights and altercations.
Alarcon admits he lied about his age to appear on the programme, which is taped in Los Angeles, after learning guests had to be at least 18 and he used a false surname on a form he had to sign.
The show's lawyer RICHARD SHERMAN says, "We don't want anyone to get hurt in the show - that's not the purpose of the show."
Sherman is moving to dismiss the teen's legal suit, in which Alarcon claims his nose was broken, because he lied on his release form.06/09/2004 09:02
