Disgraced British Tv presenter Stuart Hall has been cleared of 15 rapes and four sex abuse charges.
The former Bbc sports host, 84, who also helmed popular game show It's A Knockout, is serving a 30-month prison sentence for a campaign of sex abuse against children as young as nine, dating back to the 1960s.
Following his conviction last year (13), two more women came forward to allege Hall had raped and abused them in the 1970s and '80s when they were children, and he was charged with 15 rapes and five indecent assaults.
Hall denied the allegations, claiming he had consensual sex with both complainants, but he refused to give evidence at his trial in Preston Crown Court, England.
On Friday (16May14), Hall was cleared of all 15 rape charges and four of the five indecent assault counts.
He was convicted of one indecent assault and had pleaded guilty to another indecent assault at the start of the trial. He is due to be sentenced for both of those offences on 23 May (14).
