Clueless star Stacey Dash is reportedly in talks to join America's Fox News network as a regular contributor.
The conservative African-American star has previously appeared on Fox News shows like Fox & Friends, but now she is close to signing on for a more long-term role to share her political views on air, according to the New York Post.
Dash has become an outspoken supporter of the U.S. Republican Party since backing Barack Obama's rival Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential elections, although her Twitter.com endorsement prompted a backlash among fans.
Discussing the surprising reaction to her Twitter posts, she recently said, "I woke up the next morning, and my life changed. I had death threats, people calling me Uncle Tom, telling me I didn't like black people. Ridiculous things that I didn't really care to hear...
"It made me feel more confident in my belief. It made me feel that I needed to stand up more."
