A former member of the Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Broadway cast has confessed to killing his boyfriend.
Marcus Bellamy, who also appeared onstage as a dancer in Disney's Tarzan, admitted to his crime in two disturbing Facebook posts, according to the New York Daily News.
The first reads: "Forgive me. I did it because I love you. I love you all. I love you also. He told me love and hate are the same emotion. Forgive me. I know not what I do. I did it for love. For god. On high."
His boyfriend, Bernardo Almonte's body was found face-down in a pool of blood in his apartment.
Prior to his Facebook posts, Bellamy told a neighbour he had killed Almonte, and the dancer has been charged with beating his boyfriend to death.
Bellamy was Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark's Assistant Dance Captain, as well as a member of the ensemble. He trained at Juilliard, Interlochen Arts Academy and The Florida Dance Workshop, according to BroadwayWorld.com.
